艺术家许岩作品我爱宾臣墟亮相社区【侨报记者崔国其1月13日纽约报道】公共艺术作品“我爱宾臣拨ILoveBensonhurst”近日亮相布碌仑海湾公园大道(BayParkway)，为每天车水马龙且商家云集的该商业大街带来耳目一新的感受，并为社区增添了文化氛围据悉，该公共艺术作品由宾臣墟商业促进会联合州众议员寇顿、市议员庄文怡办公室，邀请纽约亚裔艺术家联合会会长许岩创作。该作品位于布碌仑宾臣墟区地铁N车海湾公园大道站出口附近，以新天地美食坊的三扇卷间门为介艺术，选用辨识度极高的哥特式字体，并采用华人喜爱的红、黄、紫为基色，借助爱心笑脸等符号，创造性地展现了宾臣城衬区的热情洋溢和友好多元。艺术家许岩曾在国际涂鸦比赛WALL-LORDS 中荣获亚洲区冠军，策划并参与了“涂鸦理想国”(Graci Ucopia)、“在艺术中复苏”(Revive In Ar)等多场大型国际街头艺术展。为了创作“我爱宾臣墟1LoveBensonhust”作品，也为了避免影响商家正常营业，许岩连续三天顶着凛冽寒风挑灯夜战。当作品亮相的那一刻,惊艳四方,也引来人们称赞。但许岩对自己的首秀作品只打了60分。他说，由于卷闸门四凸不平，极大地限制了自己的创作风格。若能在社区找到空墙之类的大平面，他有信心能为公众创作一批颜色更细腻、内容更丰富、水平更高的网红打卡点。宾臣墟商业促进会董事长罗芍荣称赞作品非常棒，认为艺术家的设计理念非同凡响，大小红心既商味着饼屋生意兴旺，也预示着宾臣墟社区红火的未来和邻里相爱。州众议员寇顿幕僚长贺立宁认为这是一次很好的艺术创意活动，并建议在 86 街、海湾公园大道、20和18大道等主要商业街继续司找场地，为艺术家提供更了的创作作舞台，同时起到美化家园、宣传社区、估型首费的作用。
